Jackie Morris is an acclaimed author and artist, who, in collaboration with Robert Macfarlane, created The Lost Words and its sister, The Lost Spells, the unique and much-loved celebration of the relationship between language and the living world, and nature’s power to spark the imagination.
The soundscapes for the audiobook for The Lost Words and The Lost Spells were created by the renowned wildlife recordist, Chris Watson. These aural glimpses into the natural world, be it an adder in grass or an egret submerging into the swell of the ocean, have been brought together to star in their own right in the The Lost Sounds, an immersive natural listening experience, taking its audience across the UK through the sounds of nature.
