Wealden Festival takes place in the idyllic surroundings of Boldshaves Garden, a 100 acre site near Tenterden in Kent encompassing ancient woodland, exquisite gardens and farmland with a views across the Weald.
Directions to Boldshaves from M20: Get off at junction 9 and take A28 towards Tenterden (not Canterbury). After 4-5 miles there is a left turning signed to Woodchurch. If you get to Bethersden you have gone too far. Turn left and exactly 2.5 miles later turn right into Redbrook Street. Exactly 1 mile later turn left into a narrow lane. Exactly 0.5 miles later you will see a large brick entrance on your right signed Boldshaves.
Directions to Boldshaves from Tenterden: From the A28 in the High Street, turn down the lane by the recreation ground and follow signs for the Rare Breeds Centre, Woodchurch & Hamstreet. Go past the golf course and about a mile further on, turn left at the sign of a pink pig. Bear right after a few hundred yards and then after about a mile turn left at a grass triangle down a small unmarked lane. After about 0.5 miles you will see the entrance on the left to Boldshaves.
TN26 3RA. Please note this takes you to the end of the track. Follow signs from here to reach the parking destination.
Please allow plenty of time to reach us. Traffic flow will be controlled as much as possible but we would advise allowing extra time just in case.
Trains run from London’s Charing Cross, Waterloo East and St. Pancras International to Ashford International which is a 20 minute taxi ride away.
Journey time from St. Pancras on the high speed to Ashford International is 40 minutes. It is approximately an hour from Charing Cross or Waterloo East to Headcorn station (also a 20 minute taxi ride to the festival site).
A free shuttle bus will operate between Ashford Station (outside the domestic terminal) and the Festival site at the following times:
