Friday 15 September to Sunday 17 September.
A weekend of nurturing yoga designed to replenish mind, body and soul within the sanctuary of Boldshaves and its surrounding gardens and woodland. Drawing inspiration from the changing seasons, you will have the time and space to recharge whilst immersing yourself in a variety of yoga practices from vinyasa flow, meditation and sound healing.
Enjoy delicious home-cooked food and the warmest hospitality. All of our packages are all-inclusive (with the exception of any additional treatment requested for the Saturday) with every meal provided and a complimentary bar with tea, coffee and refreshments served throughout the weekend.
Boldshaves is celebrated above all for its peace and tranquillity. Nestled amongst ancient woodland, the estate features a lovely, rambling house set in a beautiful garden on the edge of the Weald of Kent in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With over 100 acres of private land to explore, the weekend will provide ample opportunity to enjoy the enchanting surroundings.
Despite its rural location, Boldshaves is only a 20 minute drive from Ashford International Station, itself a 35 minute train ride away from St Pancras International in London. Collections from the station are available on request.
Lolly Norris was born and raised in South Africa where she spent the first 18 years of her life. After travelling the world, she then moved to the UK. Her first experience of yoga was in 1998 at the age of 20, it opened her body and mind to the potential of healing, and started a journey of self-discovery in the face of her own personal challenges from childhood and beyond. This journey took her to India where she immersed herself in a variety of yoga practices and massage.
Lolly later settled down in Tunbridge Wells to train formally in yoga and shiatsu massage. She has now been teaching yoga for 11 years, focusing in particular on vinyasa yoga, pranayama and meditation. She now lives in rural East Sussex with her husband, daughter and dog.
Arrive late afternoon or early evening and take your time to settle in at Boldshaves before taking part in a gentle evening yoga session followed by a fabulous dinner and an introduction to the weekend ahead. Friday’s yoga session will focus on connection and setting intentions followed by a gentle practice with breath work and meditation. This will be a yoga practice to reset, relax and help ease into the weekend ahead.
The morning will start with vinyasa yoga to energise and invigorate followed by a nourishing sound bath with sound healer, Sarah Stephenson. Depending on the weather, this session will take place in either a beautiful 18th century barn on the site or within the gardens at Boldshaves. Afterwards, a wholesome and nourishing brunch will be served. In the afternoon, there will be the option of individual treatment sessions and the opportunity to go for a walk in the woods or explore the lovely garden (with guided tours available on request). Later, there will be another gentle yoga session focusing on breath work and meditation before the group gathers together in the evening for more delicious food and a chance to sample some local Kentish wines.
The morning will again start with vinyasa yoga, followed by another well-earned brunch. The weekend will draw to its conclusion with a farewell ceremony reflecting on the weekend with further attention on breathing and meditation.
