The Tutor:

Jill Swan is an established local Spooncarver who has been teaching for 15 years, throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Originally inspired when she acquired some ancient Kentish woodland, Jill drew on her background as an artist having trained at the City and Guilds of London Art school under principal Sir Roger de Grey.
In the ensuing years, Jill has developed a unique style of teaching this ancient craft and now has extensive knowledge of the skills, tools, and equipment required.

Jill is blessed with perception and insight and when holding a group session is always amazed at the intense level of conversation whilst her students are handling and shaping wood for the first time.
