Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately only assistance dogs are permitted on the festival site.

Is there a cash machine on site?

There is no cash point but most stalls will have contactless card machines. This is dependent on the wifi connection so we would advise bringing cash or cheques as well just in case.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes, there are baby changing facilities available.

Do you charge for car parking?

No, parking at Wealden Literary Festival is free.

Can I get there by train?

The nearest stations are Headcorn and Ashford International.

MTC taxis operate from Headcorn and it is advisable to book: 01622 890003 or 01580 890003.

Ashford International have a taxi rank but if you would prefer to book there are a number of taxi companies including Arrow Taxis (01233 666666), Unique Taxis (01233 367368) and Blue Line Taxis (01233 666123).

Is there transport between the station and the Festival site?

We operate a shuttle bus between Ashford International and the Festival site.

Do you have First Aid on site?

First aid is available throughout the Festival weekend. If you require first aid, please make your way to the Box Office.

In an emergency, please alert one of the festival stewards who will radio for a medic to attend.

Is drinking water available on site?

Drinking water stations are located throughout the site. Please bring your own water bottle with you.

Will you be selling books at the Festival?

Yes! We are delighted to be working with the wonderful team at Sevenoaks Bookshop who will be selling books for all speakers taking part from their pop-up shop at the Festival site.
